Mikael Thinghuus is the CEO of Royal Greenland A/S. Prior to this he was CEO of ID Design and the owner of Idemøbler and ILVA in Denmark and Sweden. In the early 2000s he worked as the COO of ECCO for five years, as well as the CFO of ALK-Abello and the CFO of Valtech, a French internet consulting company.
From 1998 to 1999 Mr. Thinghuus worked as CFO of Det Berlingske Officin, Denmark’s largest media company. From 1995 to 1997 he served as CFO of The East Asiatic Company in Denmark and Singapore, a trading house with operations mostly in Asia and South America. Prior to that he held various positions with IBM Denmark and IBM Europe within IT, finance and business development units. Mr. Thinghuus holds degrees in Finance and Marketing from Copenhagen Business School.
