Our Approach

The WOC is an unprecedented, innovative approach to addressing ocean sustainability through a global, cross-sectoral industry alliance on "Corporate Ocean Responsibility". The WOC is bringing together leaders from a wide range of ocean industries to collaborate in a shared goal of healthy and productive seas and their sustainable use, development and stewardship by a responsible ocean business community.

The WOC is the only international organization bringing together the broad range of ocean industries to address global sustainability of the seas by achieving the following objectives:

An ocean business community well-informed on ocean policy processes and constructively engaged with ocean stakeholders.
Cross-sectoral industry collaboration in practical, cost-effective, science-based solutions to marine environmental issues.
