Aymen is a current Erasmus Mundus Joint Master student in Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) at Iuav Venice Italy in collaboration with the University of Seville, Spain and University of Azores, Portugal. He is presently interning at the WOC and conducting a research study on Blue Economy industry and business in the Mediterranean Sea and the region’s potential for MSP. Aymen graduated in maritime administration and port management in 2006, and worked in the private sector for two years on ship consignment, ship charter operations and transport and logistics. Since 2009, he has been working at the Tunisian Maritime Authority as Maritime Safety and Security Officer, overseeing the flag state and port state control of ships, fleet and seafarer administration and maritime investigation.
