On 22 September, WOC COO Christine Valentin participated in a joint radio interview at Radio France Internationale to provide input on the First Session of the International Conference on an international legally binding instrument under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction (BBNJ), held in New York on 4-17 September 2018.
