Isobel advises and facilitates young professional engagement for the World Ocean Council. As a recognised external relations leader focused on shared value, compliance and regulation, Isobel strives to build impactful working partnerships and foster open communications to address non-financial risks.
Having held sustainability leadership positions in both the maritime and oil & gas sectors, and led two sustainability practices for global consulting firms, Isobel has a proven history overseeing all aspects of project development – from idea conception and planning through to execution and evaluation.
In the course of her career, Isobel has lived and worked in a number of locations including the Middle East, Central America, Europe, Asia and Russia. She speaks conversational French and Spanish and has published thought leadership articles, keynoted at conferences, and acted as a judge for numerous sustainability awards. She holds an MA in Public Policy & Administration and a BA in Human & Social Development and Geography, with professional certificates in Sustainability Management, Human Rights & Gender Empowerment and Data Analytics & Leadership from the Wharton School of Business.
